One of the worse hotel experience - Unprofessional staff - Breakfast: Disappointing - Location: Not very closed

I encountered a significant lack of professionalism from the reservation staff. I secured a booking at the hotel via the ACC website, providing my credit card information as required. Regrettably, I was informed via email just one day prior to my travel date that my reservation had been canceled. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through telephone conversations with the reservation department, I found the staff to be unhelpful and inflexible. They insisted that I rebook the hotel at a higher rate. Furthermore, their refusal to connect me with a supervisor, coupled with misleading statements regarding the supervisor's availability, was highly unprofessional and unacceptable. The quality of the food provided during my stay was disappointing, with many items appearing to be less than fresh and emitting an unpleasant odor. This was notably the case with the watermelon, which is typically a staple of freshness. In comparison to other hotels where a variety of fresh fruit options are readily available, such as peeled oranges, grapes, and grapefruit, the selection here was limited. Throughout my three-day stay, the only fruits offered were watermelon and a mix of canned fruits. It seemed as though the hotel was operating on a restricted budget. While I understand the need for cost-saving measures, this would have been more acceptable had the room rates reflected the economical approach to dining.

Very good view of the kaaba. 🕋 It was a good experience with nice staff and support floor managers. Will recommend for anyone who travels here for long or short stays. 2630 room number, this floor has good view specifically. Swissotel makkah

The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional courtesy and provided invaluable assistance during our stay. We were accommodated in a Twin Bed City View room, which featured comfortable bedding. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean. The housekeeping staff is outstanding. They meticulously cleaned the room daily and displayed impeccable manners. A breakfast buffet was included with our stay, and we appreciated the variety of offerings. I would highly recommend the hotel to family and friends

Great stay for Umrah

The location was perfect. You can pray in your own. You can hear adhaan in your room for every prayer even tahajjud. The cleanliness was very important to me and i was 100% satisfied. There was a good variety of food for breakfast, all well displayed. The staffs were very polite.

Best 5 Star Hotel in Clock Tower

An absolutely amazing and truly 5 star experience at Swissotel Hotel Makkah. The distance from Haram, the Rooms, the facilities, breakfast, cleanliness, and above all the staff were all wonderful. Would specially like to mention Ms. Ruba at front desk for great facilitation throughout the stay especially for room allocation. Highly Recommend this hotel as it facilitates an amazing pilgrimage experience. Location: The hotel is accessible through the clock tower ground floor, while it also has an entrance from the road where Taxis can be availed most times of the day except for prayer times. Walk from room till Mataaf right in-front of Kaaba 🕋 is a distance of .45 miles/0.72 Kilometers and through the Clock Tower it takes approximately 9 minutes for a person with decent fitness. Check In: As an Accor Limitless member we had a very smooth and fast check in as well as room allocation on higher floor. Sultan at check in was super helpful. Rooms: The rooms were exceptionally well maintained and super clean. The beds, chairs, and other furnishing was in great shape. The bathrooms were very cramped, yet well equipped and luxuriously packed. We had a Kaaba 🕋 view room upgrade as an Accor Limitless member for one night by Ms. Ruba and that was an amazing experience. Each room had plenty of closet space as well as ironing board and a steam iron. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast has a huge variety of international and local cuisine. The buffet remained very well stocked for all the breakfast hours till 10:30 AM. The staff at the restaurant were also amazing. Staff: All 5 Stars to the staff. This hotel is extremely busy, yet in 4 days I did not see a single staff member without a smile and at all hours they are super ready to help you. I named a couple of staff members but there were so many who helped in every possible manner from getting taxi to storing luggage as well as helping us in getting train tickets to Madinah. The housekeeping staff are the most helpful and efficient you will ever find in a hotel.
